Group CEO
Chrissy Hall, LCSW
As Group CEO, Chrissy is responsible for the overall operations, executive leadership team, and delivery of clinical services at Magnolia Creek. She started her career over 25 years ago in the behavioral health care field as a direct care staff member. Her experience is primarily in clinical and business development executive leadership positions, serving residential treatment centers, freestanding acute care hospitals, outpatient centers, and military treatment programs. Her areas of expertise include overseeing quality and compliance for startups, clinical best practices, staff education, and program development. Chrissy is passionate about leading teams to provide the highest quality of care in safe, therapeutic environments. Chrissy received her MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University, and she’s currently licensed as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). Chrissy is married and has two sons, ages 17 and 20. During her free time, Chrissy enjoys going to her son’s baseball games and traveling.
Executive Director
Lindsay Curlee
As Executive Director at Magnolia Creek, Lindsay is responsible for overall success including administrative, operational and clinical services. Also, she is responsible for spearheading the development, communication, and implementation of effective and efficient treatment outcomes and strategies. She guides and encourages the team at Magnolia Creek to follow the core principles as an organization that delivers quality, compassionate care in an intentionally sustainable way. Lindsay holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Valdosta State University in addition to two bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Valdosta State University and Florida State University respectively. She was involved in direct client clinical care for over 12 years at varying behavioral health facilities and served as Program Coordinator for six years at the Pride Institute located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has held positions as Admission’s Director at the Apalachee Center in Tallahassee, Florida and Utilization Review Coordinator here at Magnolia Creek. Magnolia Creek continues to fulfill its mission of serving the needs of those who are struggling with eating disorders, their families, and those committed to their care. Accordingly, Lindsay is always available to those seeking admission to Magnolia Creek as we focus on ensuring a treatment that restores hope, health, and happiness. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys sports, hiking, and spending quality time with her three children and family.
Network Medical Director
Dr. Tom Scales
Dr. Tom Scales is the Network Medical Director for Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare’s Eating Disorder Network, which includes, Magnolia Creek. In his role, Dr. Scale provides psychiatric and medical care to Magnolia Creek clients. He is a diplomat in the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Scales completed his undergraduate training at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, followed by medical school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He completed his residency training in a combined Internal Medicine/Psychiatry program at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is passionate about helping those with eating disorders and has made numerous community presentations and local media appearances regarding the topic. Dr. Scales was the radio show host of a live web-based program entitled “Understanding Eating Disorders” which occurred weekly on www.health.voiceamerica.com and featured professionals and laypeople as guests in the eating disorder field. Most importantly, he is a husband and proud father of two children.
AVP of Clinical Operations, Eating Disorder Network
Kate Fisch, LCSW
Kate brings over 17 years of clinical experience working in the field of eating disorders to the Odyssey Eating Disorder Network. Kate draws on her experience working in all levels of eating disorder treatment and care to inform her dedication to developing and delivering evidence-based and best-practice clinical services. Kate’s extensive knowledge of eating disorders and years of direct client care have also shaped her passion for clinical supervision, support, and development of other mental health clinicians treating individuals with eating disorders.
Kate earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and her Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis.
AVP of Eating Disorder Admissions
Alycia Aldieri
As the AVP of Eating Disorder Admissions, Alycia works with the Eating Disorder Clinical Partnership Team to provide a responsive, compassionate, and streamlined process for admission into treatment. Her professional experiences include working with both adults and adolescents with co-occurring disorders, primarily in a residential setting. She’s a graduate of Benedictine University’s Master of Science of Clinical Psychology program. She also received her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from East Carolina University, where she received classical vocal training. Alycia’s therapeutic and professional approach derives from her therapeutic work, spiritual beliefs, and 12-step principles. She strongly values providing the highest level of integrity, compassion, and ethics when helping families and individuals affected by eating disorders and addiction. She believes living a life of recovery is worth the fight and holds hope that recovery is achievable to anyone willing. Alycia finds peace in being of service to others, and her goal is to ensure a smooth admission process for each client and their loved ones.
Director of Nutrition Services
Leigh-Ann Bamberg MS, RDN, LD, CEDS-S
As the Director of Nutrition Services and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) at Magnolia Creek, Leigh-Ann is responsible for the overall food and nutrition program at Magnolia Creek. Upon admission, Leigh-Ann evaluates clients for nutritional deficiencies as well as unhealthy food, exercise, and weight-related behaviors. Leigh-Ann provides nutrition therapy and education to promote recovery and restoration of health by implementing the principles of both Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size. Leigh-Ann utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including exposure therapy, CBT, and DBT to challenge food fears and negative thought patterns in order to take steps towards full recovery.
Leigh-Ann graduated from The University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She then continued her education at The University of Alabama and earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food and Nutrition. Leigh-Ann has extensive experience in the areas of behavioral and mental health and more specifically, eating disorder treatment. As someone who has gone through the treatment and recovery process, Leigh-Ann desires to help others discover true food freedom and body acceptance in the same way that she was able. She is a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) as well as the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians (IFEDD).
National Director of Alumni Services
Stefan Glamp
Stefan leads Odyssey’s efforts in developing the alumni communities at each of their facilities. Stefan’s approach sustains treatment effectiveness by providing timely, systematic, and supportive engagement for all clients who have completed treatment. With extensive experience developing and directing robust alumni communities in the addiction and mental health fields, he focuses on engaging people within their specific recovery journeys and developing community partnerships with a belief that long-term recovery is an attainable life goal.
Clinical Director
Dr. Danielle Hagood
Dr. Danielle Hagood has been a practicing psychologist in Upstate New York, specializing in eating disorders since 2005. She holds a bachelors and masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Psychology. Before joining Magnolia Creek, Dr. Hagood served as the Clinical Director of a partial hospitalization program working with individuals with a primary eating disorder diagnosis. Dr. Hagood was instrumental in developing this hospital, providing clinical supervision, facilitating the group and individual psychotherapy as well as maintaining quality assurance for accreditation and licensing. Along with her specialization in eating disorders, she is proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and family systems. Dr. Hagood believes that everyone has the potential for growth and change. She has a passion for the treatment and education of eating disorders and particularly enjoys leading and facilitating community outreach projects.
Nurse Practitioner
Terrica Vincent, CRNP
Terrica Vincent is a family nurse practitioner. She is employed at Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders in Columbiana, Alabama where she provides medical management to clients. She completed her Associate degree in Nursing at Central Alabama Community College in Childersburg, Al and then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and then her Master of Science degree at the University of Auburn in Auburn, Alabama. She obtained her national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a family nurse practitioner in 2018. In her spare time, Terrica enjoys spending time with her husband and their 4 children.
Registered Dietitian
Alex Aerni, MS, RD, LD
Alex knew she wanted to study and help others learn about nutrition from sophomore year of high school onwards. Alex completed both her undergraduate education in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as her graduate degree through Samford University. Alex had the opportunity to rotate at Magnolia Creek as part of her dietetic internship, and during this time, reconfirmed her passion for counseling. In her nutrition counseling sessions, Alex incorporates motivational interviewing and intuitive eating principles to help guide clients in their recovery.
Lead Therapist
Janifer Stallworth, MS, NCC
Janifer Stallworth serves as a Family Therapist. Janifer received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta. Janifer utilizes a wide range of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Experiential Family Therapy. Janifer has experience working with clients who struggle with addiction, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and co-occurring disorders. As a therapist and mother, she understands the importance of family to development and recovery.
Primary Therapist
Samantha Patterson, MS
Samantha Patterson works as an individual therapist, who specializes in addressing co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse and eating disorders. Samantha obtained her in Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama in 2015. After which she began working in substance abuse treatment facilities throughout Alabama. She has held her Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification (AADC) for the past 6 years. Samantha previously served as the clinical director at The Phoenix House, as well as Bessemer Behavioral Health before coming to Magnolia Creek. Since arriving, she has obtained her EMDR certification and provides trauma-specific treatment services. Samantha also serves on the board of directors for the Alabama School of Alcohol and Drug Studies (ASADS).
Therapist
Kelly Moore
Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Human Services minor from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama. She has worked in the field of mental health for over 5 years in both acute hospitalization and residential programs for both adults and adolescents ages 11-17 years old. Kelly has experience working with adults and adolescents who struggle with impulse control, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, hallucinations and delusions, and co-occurring disorders. Kelly serves as a primary/individual therapist for Magnolia Creek, utilizing multiple therapeutic styles and modalities in treatment that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
PHP Coordinator
Rachel Cannon, MS, LMFT
Rachel serves as the PHP Coordinator and a Primary Therapist at Magnolia Creek. As the PHP Coordinator, Rachel oversees the daily administrative and clinical components of the PHP program at Magnolia Creek. Rachel works directly under the Clinical Director while also functioning as a liaison between other disciplines to assist with efficient client transition. As a Primary Therapist, Rachel works individually with clients to process through negative thought patterns and develop a more positive sense of self. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Rachel also has experience working with clients who have substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, and relational difficulties. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Alabama.
Assistant Director of Admissions
Kayla Harvey
Kayla brings 10 years of social work experience to her role as the Assistant Director of Eating Disorder Admissions.She began her career in the mental health field and has worked with adolescents and adults diagnosed with various co-occurring disorders throughout her career. She also directed a foster care agency in Anderson, IN. Kayla graduated from Ball State University with her bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and then obtained her Master of Arts in Human Services from Southeastern University and a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Walden University. In her down time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and two dogs. Her passion for helping others has been evident since she was very young and continues to show through in her work and communication in helping others.

Heath Hagood
Heath has over 20 years of experience in the home improvement industry as well as over 13 years experience in lawn maintenance. Magnolia Creek sits on thirty-six beautiful acres and Heath has the tools and experience to make our location the perfect environment for healing. He enjoys using his experience to help others and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
Recovery Care Specialist Supervisor
Courtney Vallery
Courtney Vallery holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Beyond education, she spent three years working at Louisiana Methodist Children’s home serving clients as a Mental Health Specialist and Assistant Supervisor. Similar to Magnolia Creek, this was a residential treatment center. Her passion for mental health continues at Magnolia Creek and is displayed in the structure and quality care we provide for those on the path of ED recovery.
As the Recovery Care Specialist Supervisor, Courtney oversees the Residential Department to ensure clients receive quality care from well-trained staff. She also provides leadership and oversight of residential living/learning experience.
Alumni Relations Coordinator
Taylor Helms
Serving as the Alumni Relations Coordinator at Magnolia Creek, Taylor hopes to create a safe and supportive community after residential treatment. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Montevallo in 2021. Taylor began working at Magnolia Creek in 2022 as a Recovery Care Specialist, achieving her Tier II status. Taylor leads weekly groups for alumni and their families for recovery-focused conversation and support. She believes in the importance of community and edifying others to achieve their goals.

Chef Clif Holt
Chef Clif has over 25 years of experience as chef, caterer, restaurateur, and instructor in the world of culinary. Chef Clif’s philosophy on food and nutrition revolves around local, sustainable, and healthy eating. Chef Clif’s favorite aspect of culinary is not only creating art with food but also teaching individuals the skills needed to be comfortable in the kitchen creating and preparing meals of their own.

Abbie Copus, M.S.E.
As Teen Program Administrator at Magnolia Creek, Abbie supports school-aged clients by coordinating their education needs and providing quality care and therapeutic interventions. Abbie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Auburn University, and a Master of Science in Education degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Samford University. Before joining Magnolia Creek, Abbie taught middle school for 10 years. Abbie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 sons.
